Limited Edition 12South Blend for Dia de los Muertos

The coffee components of our coffee blends rotate throughout the year and for the month of October, the 12South blend you know and love will feature our Mexican Sicobi coffee. With Mexican coffee in the mix and Day of the Dead at the end of the month, we jumped at the chance at collaborating with local Nashville artist Matthew Sharer (@matthewshurrrr) to create a limited edition Dia de los Muertos themed packaging for 12South blend.

Sip lids are now available at all Frothy locations! Besides the benefit of eliminating the need for a straw, these lids provide a more enjoyable coffee drinking experience. Plastic straws will still be available for those who need them, and reusable metal straws are also available for sale.

Fall is in the air! And, not soon enough. We have been hard at work on our fall drinks and we have some amazing flavors of fall that will take you beyond the traditional. From peanut butter to sage, to cayenne, and elderberry, they are available throughout the fall and winter seasons at all Frothy locations.

ELDERBERRY GINGER ELIXIR

{8 OZ, 12 OZ, 16 OZ, ICED}
steamed milk + honey + house-made elderberry syrup made with ginger, cardamom, clove {add espresso $1}

First we make an elderberry syrup* with ginger, cardamom and clove. Then we steam the elderberry syrup with the milk and add a hint of Tennessee honey and sprinkle spices on top.  Created by Jenn Sheets @jennbrownsheets

It’s the return of the progressive art + beer crawl dinner, one of our favorite pairing dinner formats! Frothy Monkey and Jackalope Brewing will be teaming up with the galleries on the Avenue of the Arts in Downtown Nashville for a progressive beer dinner art crawl. Jackalope co-owner, Steve Wright, will be joining us to drop all of his beer knowledge on us.  This 5 course dinner by Chef Chase will feature course {1} at The Arts Company, course {2} at The Rymer Gallery and course {3} at Tinney Contemporary. Courses {4} + {5} will be served at our 5th Avenue of the Arts location in Downtown Nashville.

Jackalope Brewing Co – Nashville’s 3rd oldest production craft brewery, Jackalope Brewing Co. specializes in crafting year-round and seasonal brews, while hosting community-oriented events. Co-founded by Bailey Spaulding and Robyn Virball in 2011, Jackalope was amongst the first female founded breweries in the country and also made its mark in Nashville by being the first craft brewery to can its beer. The Ranch in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood is Jackalope’s largest taproom and production facility, with the original brewery The Den located a mile away on 8th Ave S.

EVENT: 6/21 Latte Art Throwdown

EVENT: Friday, June 21 @6:30pm / Latte Art Throwdown celebrating PRIDE

Frothy Monkey in Downtown Nashville (235 5th Ave North, Nashville, TN 37219) is hosting a latte art throwdown this Friday to celebrate PRIDE. All are welcome and the event is free to attend. Competing baristas will pay a $5 buy in which will benefit the Tennessee Equality Project. Sign up at 6:30pm and first pour at 7pm. Join us for drinks, food, and prizes!

House-made BAGELS

After spending years searching for a bagel in Nashville that lived up to our standards, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We have perfected our recipe, and our bakers (BAKERY by frothy monkey) are now making Frothy Monkey bagels in house to create the perfect balance of flavor and texture. A Frothy Monkey bagel is delicious on its own, or served up toasted with cream cheese. With their soft, chewy texture and fantastic crust they also make a tasty sandwich even better.

In true Frothy Monkey fashion, our bagels are made from simple, thoughtfully-sourced ingredients, and baked daily right here in Nashville, TN. Each bagel requires a three day process to achieve artisan perfection, and we use our Sourdough starter to yield a rich and deep flavor profile with a pleasant, lingering finish. #bagelnerds

Bagels are now available at all Frothy locations and are also available to our wholesale customers!
