Frothy Monkey’s Downtown Nashville Location Opening

Open at 7am on Saturday, May 3rd for breakfast through dinner

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) May 2, 2014— The highly anticipated opening of Frothy Monkey’s fourth location in Downtown Nashville will be a reality tomorrow morning at 7 am. Frothy’s newest location is at the base of the historic Kress building on the block deemed the “Avenue of the Arts” on the newly revamped 5th Avenue in Downtown Nashville, TN.

“Frothy Monkey opening in the middle of the galleries on 5th Avenue is a game-changer,” says neighbor and Nashville arts maven, Anne Brown of The Arts Company. “They bring with them a following of their own, who will mingle together in the downtown arts district with the thousands of Nashvillians and visitors who are attracted here by performing and visual arts venues.  Signature coffee, full-service artisan food, wine, craft beer, cocktails, later hours, music, more art–that’s what they add to this energetic arts district.”

The space itself is 3200 square foot space shotgun layout. The mezzanine level, on the second floor at the front of the building is designed to take advantage of the streetscape changing from day to night. The resturant will seat 160 customers including space for internet users as well as diners. The mezzanine will be more private, with floor to ceiling windows and a view of the street. It will feature a community table, serving as a space for coffee demos, wine tastings, and large groups of diners.

It’s a neighborhood concept.

This is the third location Frothy Monkey will have opened in the past 18 months in their recent expansion efforts, and the forth unique neighborhood concept in the Frothy family. This location is in an area with a need for more casual quality dining options for residents, businesses, and theater or concertgoers in Downtown Nashville.

“We are in between the Rymer and Tinney Contemporary galleries, steps from The Arts Company, across the street from The Arcade, near the Library, around the corner from TPAC (who just announced a daring new season, by the way) and War Memorial Auditorium, up the hill from Bridgestone Arena, and two blocks from The Ryman. We’ll even be right in the middle of the First Saturday Art Crawl and steps away from Live on The Green,” General Manager Brittney Harrison states. “We’re pretty much in the middle of everything.”

Consistent with their other locations, Frothy Monkey will be offering downtown Nashville the comfort of a coffeehouse with an expanded menu of food and beverage offerings from early morning, through the day and into the night. For more information visit
