Donate Gifts for Seniors in Your Neighborhood at Frothy Monkey
November 5th – December 11th, 2026
Frothy Monkey is teaming up with Home Instead of Birmingham to bring some holiday joy to local seniors. Drop off a gift, write a note, and enjoy $1 off of a latte.
Spread a little holiday cheer by donating to your local seniors! This year at Frothy Monkey in Homewood and Downtown Birmingham, Alabama we have partnered with Home Instead as a drop-off location for their 20th year of the “Be a Santa to a Senior” program.
Give the Gift of Community
For many older adults in our community, the holidays can be a lonely time. Some don’t have family nearby while others are living on a fixed income. The gift bag some seniors get through “Be a Santa to a Senior” is the only present they’ll open on Christmas.
That’s why we’re excited to partner with Home Instead of Birmingham on its 20th annual “Be a Santa to a Senior” program. From November 5th to December 11th, our Homewood and Downtown Birmingham cafes are collection spots for gifts that go straight to seniors in our area.

Drop off your Gifts
Bring your donation to Frothy Monkey Homewood or Downtown Birmingham and place them in the designated donation boxes between November 5th and December 11th.
Write a Holiday Wish
We’ll give you an ornament to write a message to a local senior: a “happy holidays,” a wish for the new year or just a reminder that someone’s thinking of them. When the donations are collected, we’ll send these wishes with the donations to Seniors in your neighborhood.
