Seasonal Cocktails for Fall and Winter 2024

Fall and Winter Seasonal Cocktails for 2024

If you’ve visited the Downtown Franklin Frothy, you’ve probably enjoyed a drink by our talented barista and bartender, Jeff Duke. We’re happy to show off his talents on this year’s Fall and Winter Seasonal Cocktail menu! Jeff has been a part of Frothy for six years. Behind the bar, Jeff often dreams up recipes to celebrate holidays or enter into in-house drink competitions. We’re very excited to have his recipes on the drink menu at all Frothy locations!

Keep reading to hear Jeff’s inspiration and suggestions for each drink!

One of our seasonal drinks by barista Lilly has also made it’s way to the cocktail menu – The La Rochelle! See how it was adapted as a cocktail, below.

Maple Bourbon Smash

Masala Sazerac

La Rochelle

Bonus: New Cold Brew Martini

Green Flash

Maple Bourbon Smash

Fall spices take this bourbon drink to the next level!
Bourbon, Angostura, Spiced Maple, Lemon Juice

A twist on a classic Bourbon Smash.

“I wanted a drink that made you feel like you were sitting around a campfire with your close friends and telling ghost stories,” says Jeff.  “It’s got a sweet and equally tart flavor with the added depth of star anise and clove spices. “

Jeff suggests for guests who enjoy a Whiskey Sour or a Gold Rush.

La Rochelle

Bright in color and flavor! Great as a margarita and an espresso tonic on the Seasonal Drinks Menu
Tequila, Combier, Lime, Blood Orange + Tarragon

Created by Lilly at our Downtown Nashville location, this drink was inspired by their travels to France and their fresh imports of blood orange. Read more about her inspiration and the espresso tonic version here.

Green Flash

Creamy, Light, and a Touch of Mint!
Gin, Matcha, FM Vanilla, Oat Milk, Mint Leaves

Jeff says, “This drink has a light, yet rich combination of flavors with the addition of oat milk. With Mint on the nose, it adds so much to this vanilla, matcha and gin cocktail.”

This drink is a good fit for folks who like a sweet gin cocktail.

Masala Sazerac

Rye Whiskey, Chai, Peychauds, Ex Gratia Rinse, Lemon Peel

“This drink will make your lips tingle,” Jeff says. The warmth of the rye and chai concentrate make this drink great for cooler months. The Sazerac gives it a boozy kick!

Suggested for friends who enjoy an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan.

BONUS: New! Cold Brew Martini

A smooth, semi-sweet coffee martini
Cathead Vodka, Cold Brew Concentrate, FM Hazelnut, Campari

In 2024 we released our Frothy Monkey Cold Brew Concentrate, and it’s allowed our bartenders and baristas to play with coffee in all kinds of combinations.

“The rich chocolate note from the Cold Brew Concentrate blends well with the sharp kick of vodka and the bittersweet taste of Campari. By adding hazelnut, this cocktail truly tastes like you are drinking chocolate cake.”

For Espresso Martini or White Russian lovers.
