This intricately processed natural coffee is amazing: rich & sweet, with notes of toffee, papaya, Macadamia nuts and cherries. It's such a crowd pleaser!

This microlot is a Yellow Catuaí Natural process, where the coffee cherries are collected ripe (yellow) and slowly dried on raised, covered beds, so the coffee is shaded while dried, and moved many times a day.

After drying, the coffee seeds rest for a minimum of 30 days in the absence of light and heat. This is a process that Marcelo & Roberto started testing in 2017, in very small quantities. Now they’re working on narrowing the techniques to larger scales for microlots.

The climate at the Serra do Cabral, which is VERY dry during harvest, provides the unique conditions to achieve amazing profiles.

Product Description

What is Single Origin Coffee? Unlike coffee blends, Single Origin Coffee has a single geographic origin. This could be a single farm or a single country. For the majority of these coffees we will have a direct relationship with the farmer who grows it. Because coffee is a crop, harvesting is seasonal and the timing is specific to each region, our selection of single origin coffees will vary throughout the year.

To make it extra special, we commissioned local artist, Alicia Binkley of Monkey Ink Design to illustrate our Single Origin labels. Enjoy!
