Colombia Diego Imbachi Gesha

$24.00

The 10th iteration of our Roaster Series is a coffee we couldn’t be more proud to revisit. For those familiar with Frothy Monkey, you may recall the name Diego Imbachi, as we featured his Gesha as the 2nd coffee of our Roaster Series project. The Imbachi name goes a long way in specialty coffee circles in Colombia. The family patriarch, Carlos Imbachi, is an award winning producer from the Huila Region.

When Diego was around 10-12 years old he started to become more interested and passionate about coffee. Everything he learned about growing and processing coffee he learned from his father Carlos. While growing up, he was impressed by all the foreign travelers who would come to his family farm just to meet his father. The Imbachis are a true coffee producing family. Carlos’ four kids; Diego, Ever, Sonia, and Didier are all involved in specialty coffee.

We are so excited to present this coffee from Diego, who represents both the present and future of Colombian Specialty Coffee. The Gesha this year presented beautiful notes of juicy apricot, and floral orange blossom, with a cane sugar sweetness. It’s a delightful brew whether you are a seasoned coffee pro, or new to specialty coffee.
