Peru La Naranja, our second of two single-origin releases, is sourced in collaboration with our friends at Atlantic Specialty Importers and Origin Coffee Lab from Doris Villalobos’s small farm, Finca La Naranja, which measures only 2.5 hectares in the biodiverse Cajamarca growing region of Northern Peru. Similar to Nicolas Chilcon, Doris represents the community of smallholder producers in this region. Offering a quintessential taste profile of Cajamarca, La Naranja delights with rich chocolate notes of fudge, the citrus tang of orange peel, and a nutty, confectionary sweetness of marzipan. We are excited to feature this exemplary coffee that encapsulates the unique flavors of a smallholder producer’s hard work in Cajamarca.
