We started Frothy Monkey in Nashville’s 12South neighborhood back in 2004 with a simple idea: to create a place where people could come for more than just great coffee—a neighborhood café that feels like home. Since then, we’ve grown into a community-focused coffee shop, specialty coffee roastery, and restaurant with locations in Nashville, Franklin, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, as well as Birmingham and Homewood, Alabama. Through it all, our focus has stayed the same: warm hospitality, thoughtfully crafted food and drink, and welcoming spaces for all.
We serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner all day, every day. Our beverage offerings include a full specialty coffee bar, wine, beer, and craft cocktails (including brunch favorites and coffee cocktails). Food and drinks are made from scratch using our own recipes with ingredients sourced from regional farmers and producers whenever possible.
We believe food and drink are best when they bring people together. Whether you’re stopping in for coffee and breakfast, working from one of our cafés, or catching up over dinner and drinks, we hope you feel at home.
