Local Chattanooga Businesses Support Downtown District Banner Program

This fall, a collection of local Chattanooga Businesses supported the design and installation of new district banners in the Southside Chattanooga neighborhood through River City Company’s Downtown District Banner Program. The new design will be revealed in a short ceremony on November 29th, 2023 at 3pm EST outside of Frothy Monkey at 1400 Market Street, Chattanooga, TN.
These district banners are a collective effort to enliven the streets of the Southside District and nourish a sense of pride in the area. The banners are a great way to welcome visitors and highlight the unique character of the neighborhood.
Donations made by Frothy Monkey, along with The Chattanooga Tourism Company, Ernest Chinese, green|spaces, Center MedSpa and The CrashPad were matched by River City Company. The donations were used to support the artist stipend and cost of installation.
This year’s artist is Jaclyn Lewis. Her inspiration for the design is the Chattanooga community as well as the artists and individuals that call Southside their home.
