If you’ve been on Instagram for any length of time, you’ve likely seen the adorable and often hilarious photos of Doug the Pug (@itsdougthepug). Doug has garnered nearly 4 million instagram followers and is quite the social media influencer, as well as an all around good boy. Here at Frothy, we are big fans of Doug, so when we were asked to help Doug celebrate his 9th birthday by spreading the word about their newest endeavor, we enthusiastically agreed!
Doug, with the help of his people, Leslie and Rob, have created the Doug the Pug Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit that works to bring joy and needed support to children and their families battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The foundation creates life-giving campaigns to alleviate financial burdens and bring smiles to those who can best benefit. Check out their website here.
How will we celebrate an admitted #frothyfan and Donut lover? Well, for Doug’s birth month of May, we will be donating a portion of proceeds from the sale of every can of Frothy cold brew and every donut muffin to the Doug the Pug Foundation. Doug’s birthday is on May 20, and is also a Nashville official holiday known as Doug the Pug day, but we will be celebrating all month long, at all 6 of our locations: 12South, DWTN Nashville, Franklin, Nations, East Nashville and Chattanooga. Any time you purchase a donut muffin, can of Frothy Cold Brew (or both!), tag us in your photos or stories so we can share with Doug how many people all over are celebrating him, too!
