Join us at CoffeeChamps when in comes to #Nashville on 1/12-13! CoffeeChamps is caffeine-packed weekend event, featuring the Qualifying Competitions for the U.S Coffee Championships. Coffee professionals from all over the United States compete to enhance and show off their skills as Baristas, Brewers, Roasters, and Tasters. The champions from the U.S. Coffee Championships will represent the USA at the World Championships. CoffeeChamps also features a free cafe & roaster village, vendor marketplace, brewing demonstrations, and so much more!

Thursday, November 15th @6pm at Frothy Monkey in The Nations. Limited tickets are available at for $71 and include paired beverages, tax, and gratuity.

We invite you to a 10 seat, 4-course dinner at Frothy Nations, featuring lamb from Hatcher Family Dairy. Chef Chase has prepared an exclusive meal to share with you that will be paired with wine, and a dessert cocktail incorporating Hatcher Dairy.

1- Pan Roasted Loin with roasted turnips and beets, confit brussels sprouts and black currant gastrique

2- Braised lamb ragout with carrots, pearl onions, butternut squash and blood orange pan gravy

3- Roasted Leg of Lamb, carved table-side, on purple potato and leek gratin, buttered green beans and red wine rosemary demi

4- Amaretto Cheese Cake with toasted almonds, spun sugar and port braised cherries

the heartbeet
With beets that aid in detoxification and just enough ginger to wake you up, this steamer is a great way to start your morning off on a bright (PINK!) foot. Try it with espresso if you need that extra pep in your step.

havana latte
Based on a Spanish pudding called ‘Natilla’, Scott made this latte in honor of his grandmother’s dessert. It’s a sweet and creamy latte with subtle star anise and cinnamon flavors. (please note that due to the ingredients in the pre-made sauce, this latte cannot be made dairy-free)

Spring/Summer 2018! Wine Down, Wine Love, Cocktails, Seasonal Coffee Drinks

At Frothy Monkey we take coffee seriously, and that extends to the rest of our beverage offerings.  This is initially a surprise to those who aren’t familiar with the forward thinking breakfast through dinner coffeehouse concept, but in the summer of 2015 Frothy gained national recognition by Food & Wine Magazine as one of ‘8 Phenomenal Coffee Shops Where You Can Get Your Wine Fix’. Our beverage program includes a weekly Wine Down Wednesday, Wine Love dinners, Happy Hour, and Seasonal Coffeehouse beverages.

Wine Down Wednesday. The Downtown Franklin, 12South, Downtown NashvilleSouthside Chattanooga, and The Nations locations are hosting this weekly event. We will have 3 pours of wine and snacks for $15 every Wednesday 5-7pm.  Beer flights are also available for those who would rather sip a brew. $15 for 6 beer tasters and snacks.

Wine Love Dinners are scheduled for April 5, 6; June 7, 8; September 20, 21; and November 1, 2. The five-course dinners typically take place 6pm – 9pm on Thursday nights at our Franklin location and Friday nights at our DWTN Nashville / Avenue of the Arts location. They are a collaboration between Chef Chase Ingalls, Bakery Lead Emily Reed, and our wine partners. Tickets are $60++ and will be made available at

In addition to our traditional Wine Love dinners, this year we will also be hosting 3 POP UP dinners and tastings at our 12South, Southside, and Nations locations. These will include a vegetarian dinner, beer dinner, and whiskey + cigar tasting. Those are scheduled as follows:

Our Seasonal Coffeehouse Beverages are created by our baristas, and highlight their creativity. Beets + ginger, blueberries + basil, vanilla + cinnamon, and Earl Grey with caramel are just some of the delicious flavors awaiting you this Spring! We’ve also got some fresh cocktails waiting for you, and you can try the Sparkling Raspberry Matcha as a cocktail just by adding gin! (cocktails not available at 12South location)

You can of course still get The Hummingbird and the Golden Monkey as they are signature drinks on our menus, so fear not, your favorites will still be here  Bonus: All of our drinks are created using our own line of syrups, as well as house-made syrups and sauces, which makes them extra delish.

BAKERY by frothy monkey is expanding + moving.

Hamburger buns, hoagie rolls, laminated pastries, and wedding cakes will be a few of the new products added to our line of wholesale breads and pastries.

When we opened our BAKERY by frothy monkey retail and wholesale operation on Fatherland Street in East Nashville in 2015, we signed a short term lease knowing we would quickly outgrow the space. Since then, we have exceeded our goals for growth and have become limited in our ability to keep up with demand. We identified a new Nashville home for our wholesale production space at the end of 2017 where we are currently building out the 7200 sq ft space into BAKERY production, warehouse, and offices.

We will be closing our East Nashville brick and mortar store on March 31st and transitioning our retail operation to selling products through the Frothy Monkey cafes as well as at Farmer’s Markets, and pop-up shops. Our bread CSA program and catering will continue and expand as well. Specific dates and details will be announced as they are confirmed (based on construction schedules).

We are looking forward to fulfilling Nashville’s growing need for high quality (and tasty!) artisan bread and pastries!
